Working across borders

Can a UGC creator in Europe work with US brands?

Yes — and in practice it changes almost nothing on your side. I'm based in Lithuania (EU, GMT+2) and already produce UGC video ads for DTC brands in the US, UK and across Europe. Here's exactly how the logistics work, since that's usually the real question behind "can you work with US brands."

Communication runs on email and video call

Everything — the brief, script approval, revision notes, delivery — happens over email and the contact form, in English. I reply within 24 hours on weekdays. There's no requirement for a live call, though one can be arranged if a brand prefers to talk through the concept first.

No US entity or address required

I invoice as a registered EU sole proprietor, with VAT handled correctly for cross-border B2B regardless of where your company is registered. You don't need a US-based vendor, a local contract entity, or anything special set up on your end — it's the same paperwork as hiring any overseas contractor, and I provide a proper invoice for your records either way.

Physical products ship to Lithuania

If the ad requires a physical product in frame, it ships to my address in Lithuania. From the US, budget about a week including customs; from the UK or elsewhere in Europe, usually a few days. The 3 to 5 business day production turnaround starts once the product has arrived and the script is approved — not from when you place the order — so total time from order to delivered files is typically shipping time plus 3 to 5 business days. Digital products, apps, and SaaS tools skip shipping entirely since those are shot as screen recordings.

Files are delivered digitally, wherever you are

The finished ad arrives as a vertical 1080×1920 MP4 with captions burned in, sent as a download link — there's no physical handoff on the delivery side regardless of which country you're in. Every hook variation ships as its own file.

The timezone gap is smaller than it looks

Lithuania sits at GMT+2. It's a wider gap than working with a US-based creator, but since the process is asynchronous by design — brief, script approval, and revisions all happen over email rather than live meetings — the time difference rarely adds delay to the 3 to 5 business day turnaround.

Why work with an EU-based creator at all

Cost is usually the practical answer: EU-based production costs generally run lower than US-based equivalents for the same output, without a difference in the finished video's format, captions, or hook structure. The deliverable — vertical 9:16, 25 to 45 seconds, three hook variations per concept — is identical to what a US-based creator would send.
